Job summary

A leading analytical laboratory in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced candidate to join their team on a 6-month fixed-term contract. The role involves analyzing metal oxide samples, performing trace element analysis, and maintaining analytical equipment. Overview

Do you have experience in an Analytical Lab? This is an opportunity to join an Analytical Materials Laboratory on a 6 month fixed term contract. Should it be a great fit for you and the team, this will then become a permanent opportunity!

Responsibilities
  • Analysing Tin Oxide and other Metal oxide samples for chemical and physical properties: BET Surface Area, Particle Size Analysis by Laser and DLS, Bulk and Tap Density, NIR Spectroscopy; Electrical Conductivity
  • Trace element analysis by ICP
  • Documentation of results in Lab Manuals and Data bases
  • Maintain analytical equipment
Qualifications
  • Experience in a QC Lab
  • Experience using ICP-OES, SEM, BET, XRD, HPLC
  • Willingness to work flexible hours as required
