Job summary

A leading analytical laboratory in the UK is seeking a candidate with experience in an Analytical Lab for a 6-month fixed-term contract. The role involves analysing samples for chemical and physical properties, conducting various analyses, and maintaining equipment. Ideal candidates should have experience in a QC Lab and relevant analytical techniques. There may also be an opportunity for permanent employment following the contract period.

Qualifications

• Experience in an Analytical Lab.
• Knowledge of analysing Tin Oxide and other Metal oxides for properties.
• Experience with documentation in Lab Manuals and Databases.

Responsibilities

• Analysing chemical and physical properties of samples.
• Conducting various analyses like BET Surface Area, Particle Size.
• Maintaining analytical equipment.

Skills

Experience in a QC Lab

Do you have experience in an Analytical Lab?

This is an opportunity to join an Analytical Materials Laboratory on a 6 month fixed term contract. Should it be a great fit for you and the team, this will then become a permanent opportunity!

What you will be doing

• Analysing Tin Oxide and other Metal oxide samples for chemical and physical properties
• BET Surface Area, Particle Size Analysis by Laser and DLS, Bulk and Tap Density, NIR Spectroscopy; Electrical Conductivity
• Trace element analysis by ICP
• Documentation of results in Lab Manuals and Data bases
• Maintain analytical equipment

Who are they looking for?

• Experience in a QC Lab
• Experience using ICP-OES, SEM, BET, XRD, HPLC
• Willingness to work flexible hours as required
