Job description

Cpl Life Sciences is seeking a QC Laboratory Steward for a driven and ambitious individual to join a FTSE 10 company. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the QC Laboratory to ensure smooth operations and enable analysts to work efficiently.

Responsibilities:
  1. Support lab analysts at the start of their shifts to commence analytical work.
  2. Maintain sufficient stock of consumables (stationery, solvents, etc.) in the laboratory.
  3. Log samples in logbooks and batch logs, check sample markets, and receive samples on SAP.
  4. Print finished product document packages, including analysis worksheets, specifications, and testing methods.
  5. Create and issue new laboratory logbooks and folders for training and filing.
  6. Upload QC and OOS reports to SharePoint.
  7. Conduct stock checks and order consumables from suppliers like Fisher, VWR, and Sampling Systems.
  8. Assist with archiving (BUP, ICG, FP), filling, and support other teams as needed.
  9. Perform safety shower checks.
Experience & Personal Attributes:
  1. Experience with administrative and/or secretarial duties.
  2. Proficiency in written and spoken English and Maths.
  3. Exceptional organizational skills and ability to work under pressure.
  4. Effective teamwork and communication skills.
