Job summary

Almac Group in Craigavon is offering a 12-month placement in the Quality Control laboratory. You will carry out routine analysis of raw materials, intermediates and products to defined specifications under GMP.

Open to Life Science students with a Chemistry component who can complete 12 months full-time before returning to university; experience with HPLC and MS Office is advantageous.

Qualifications

• This placement is suited to a life sciences student who enjoys practical laboratory work.
• Able to complete a 12-month full-time placement before returning to university to finish the programme.
• Ability to work effectively in a challenging, time-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out Quality Control analysis of raw materials, intermediates and products.
• Maintain accurate analytical records and support laboratory equipment maintenance and calibration systems.
• Review completed Quality Control documentation and report out-of-specification results.
• Support investigations and troubleshoot analytical methods with experienced colleagues.
• Contribute to packaging documentation review, new-starter training and internal Good Manufacturing Practice inspections.
