Overview

Brightwork are currently recruiting for an immediately available QC Lab Analyst to join our prestigious drinks production client at one of their sites in Fife to work on a full-time, temporary basis.

This is a full time role, working Monday - Friday, Day-shift.

Responsibilities
  • Carry out routine testing and analysis to ensure product quality.
  • Work hands-on with equipment (HPLC, GC, spectrophotometers, etc.).
  • Support microbiology testing and yeast performance monitoring.
  • Keep our lab stocked, calibrated, and running smoothly.
  • Record and present data that drives real process improvements.
  • Collaborate with operators and technical teams to solve challenges.
  • Champion safety, compliance, and quality standards.
  • Spot opportunities to improve processes and support continuous growth.
Successful candidate
  • Working experience within a similar role ideally within the food or drink industry
  • Candidate will have a degree within a scientific function
  • Practical knowledge of operation and maintenance of analytical techniques such as GC, HPLC, HPLC-MS and GC-MS
  • Knowledge of Brewing/Distilling would be advantageous
  • Experience in Chemical analyses, Microbiological analyses or Brewing Quality Control
