Job summary

iCOMAT is seeking a Quality Control Inspector (Late Shift) to ensure all products meet quality standards. You will perform CMM inspection and programming, inspect materials, processes, and finished parts, and collaborate with Operations/Engineering to resolve issues.

The role requires 2–3 years in quality control within manufacturing, knowledge of CAD data extraction, and proficiency with CMMs and precision tools. Flexibility for shift work and a fast-paced environment is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 3 NVQ in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field or equivalent industrial experience.
• 2–3 years of experience in quality control/inspection in manufacturing.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Inspect composite and metallic components to ensure compliance with specs.
• Perform visual and dimensional inspections of incoming materials, in-process parts, and finished products.
• Create FAIR packs and necessary C of C documentation.
• Maintain records of inspections, tests, and QA activities.
