Job description

Job Description

Our client manufactures gas components, and they are looking for a QC Inspector who will ensure that all inspection, documentation, and testing activities within our client's organization are completed accurately. All material received into and dispatched from the company must meet required specifications.

Job Duties
  1. Point of contact for all material supplied into the organization and dispatched from the organization to ensure that it meets the required standards established by drawings, specifications, and similar documentation.
  2. Completing inspection and quality assurance activities in Goods Inwards / Dispatch and Work in-process environments.
  3. Management of the instruments calibration system.
  4. Responsible for the inspection of all components, assemblies, and complete packages throughout the manufacturing works using contract-specific Inspection and Test Plans (I&TP).
  5. Completing inspections, assessments and providing documented reports clearly identifying deficiencies and non-conformance to specifications and drawings.
  6. Completion of technical machine shop inspection using Faro 3D CMM measuring equipment (in addition to basic mechanical measurement activities).
Qualifications/Experience Required
  1. Understanding and experience in interpreting engineering drawings, certifications, and standard requirements.
  2. Knowledge and understanding of a variety of manufacturing processes and ability to evaluate and problem solve.
  3. Ability to quickly establish and, where appropriate, further develop effective relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
  4. Excellent interpersonal skills to deal with challenging situations.
  5. Be resilient and positively adapt to change.
  6. Quality-related qualification, CSWIP 3.0, PCN.
