Shift:

Week 2: Thursday - Saturday 10:00-22:00

Rate of pay:

We are looking for committed and keen people to join our Quality Team and be part of one of the UK’s leading retail brands.

About the role:

You will:

  • Be responsible for accurately working on a variety of documentation and systems, ensuring a timely and smooth flow of goods through the department and back into stock.
  • Call work to our QC room and induct stock back into the high bay that has passed through the PQC Department using our infeed and outfeed system.
  • Lift furniture items, including regular two-person lifts.
  • Work with a variety of stock, from sofas to flat-packed furniture.
  • Support Rework processes when needed, which involves revisiting and correcting tasks or products that were not completed correctly the first time due to defects, errors, or unmet quality standards.
  • Handle pallet work: preparing and stacking furniture on pallets, ensuring items are secure and stable.
  • Accurately wrap pallets using correct techniques to maintain safety during transport and storage.

You will:

  • Have experience in a similar role.
  • Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail.
  • Be able to work accurately, quickly, and under pressure.
  • Be able to lift furniture items, including support with two-person lifts.
