Job summary

Piramal Pharma Solutions is seeking a QC Team Leader (Technical Support) to lead analytical equipment management within the Quality Control department, ensuring instrumentation for release testing is maintained in a compliant, qualified, and operational state.

You will work closely with QC operations, Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, Engineering, and external vendors; acting as the SME for all analytical equipment and QC activities aligned to client projects, with focus on planning,

Responsibilities

• Be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all Analytical Equipment aligned to client projects
• Be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all QC activities aligned to client projects
• Manage analytical procedures for testing of raw materials, in process products, bulk drug substance, final products and stability products according to SOPs and protocols
• Apply best cGMP work-practices and techniques to manage testing and release within specification and in accordance with Data Integrity requirements
• Ensure QC Analysts and QC Technicians are trained and competent in procedures and compliant with cGMP practices
• Manage subcontracting of QC testing and dispatch to approved suppliers according to procedures and GMP
• Oversee on-time reporting and review/verification of analytical data
• Escalate deviations to the QC Manager immediately
• Maintain clean, organized laboratories and readiness for inspection
• Ensure equipment, facilities and materials comply with defined standards
• Issue, manage and close deviations, change controls, OOS or SST investigations and CAPAs promptly
• Identify areas for continuous improvement and escalate to the QC Manager
• Contribute to a collaborative team environment and undertake other duties as required
