Job description

We are now recruiting for a QC Controller to join our team in Telford on a full-time, permanent basis!

Salary:

£24,444 per annum.

Working Hours:

4 on 4 off days, 6am-6pm.

Role Overview:

As a QC Controller, you will ensure that correct procedures are maintained in handling and reporting returned or rejected goods from the depot.

Key Duties:
  • Follow correct procedures for all QC held goods, complete return forms, take photos, and apply correct status to returns.
  • Maintain good housekeeping within returns and QC areas.
  • Manage uplifts and customer returns.
  • Follow procedures for goods requested for disposal.
  • Liaise with Customer Services with accurate information.
  • Process transactions through our WMS for accurate stock records and traceability.
  • Check video footage when required.
  • Support on the floor as needed.
  • Handle disposal paperwork, load preparation, and plan deliveries/collections with Swancote.
  • Assist with stock functions such as stock clear-up, including clearing of CS, forklift, and depot pallets after investigation.
  • Occasionally assist with warehouse tasks like PPT or Reach Truck driving (licenses required), cross dock, or stock receipting.
Qualifications:
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Reach license essential.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Knowledge of goods in, picking, and despatching.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Flexible and adaptable to meet business needs, especially during peak periods.
