Job Description

We are now recruiting for a QC Controller to join our team in Telford on a full-time permanent basis!

Salary: £24,444 per annum.

Working Hours: 4 on 4 off days, 6am-6pm.

As a QC Controller, you will be responsible for ensuring that correct procedures are maintained in the handling and reporting of returned or rejected goods from the depot.

Key Duties of a QC Controller:

  • Ensure that correct procedures are followed for all QC-held goods, with proper return forms completed, photos taken, and correct status applied to the return.
  • Manage good housekeeping within returns and QC areas.
  • Handle all uplifts and customer returns.
  • Follow correct procedures for all goods requested for disposal.
  • Liaise with Customer Services providing clear and accurate information.
  • Process all transactions related to the above correctly through our WMS to maintain accurate records and traceability of stock.
  • Verify related matters by checking video footage when required.
  • Provide support on the floor as time allows.
  • Handle disposal paperwork, prepare loads, and plan deliveries/collections with Swancote.
  • Assist with other stock functions such as stock clean-up, clearing CS, forklifts, and depot location pallets after thorough investigation.
  • Occasionally assist with warehouse work such as PPT driving or Reach Truck driving (licenses required), cross-docking, or stock receipting.

Qualifications

  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Reach license essential.
  • Able to work independently.
  • Knowledge of goods in, picking, and dispatching.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Flexible and adaptable to meet business requirements, especially during peak periods.
