Job Description

We are recruiting for a QC Controller to join our team in Telford on a full-time, permanent basis.

Salary: £24,444 per annum

Working Hours: 4 on 4 off days, 6am-6pm

As a QC Controller, you will be responsible for ensuring that correct procedures are maintained in the handling and reporting of returned or rejected goods from the depot.

Key Duties of a QC Controller
  1. Ensure that correct procedures are followed for all QC held goods, with proper return forms completed, photos taken, and correct status applied to the return.
  2. Manage good housekeeping within returns and QC areas.
  3. Handle all uplifts and customer returns.
  4. Follow correct procedures for goods requested for disposal.
  5. Liaise with Customer Services providing clear and accurate information.
  6. Process transactions related to the above accurately through our WMS for proper records and traceability.
  7. Verify matters by checking video footage when required.
  8. Provide support on the floor as needed.
  9. Assist with disposal paperwork, load preparations, and planning deliveries/collections with Swancote.
  10. Support stock functions such as stock clean-up, clearing CS, forklifts, and depot pallets after investigation.
  11. Occasionally assist with warehouse tasks such as PPT or Reach Truck driving (licenses required), cross-docking, or stock receipting.
