Job summary

Concrete4Change is seeking an Analytical / QC Chemist to support product characterisation, analytical development, and quality control during industrial scale-up in Nottingham.

The ideal candidate will have a PhD in Chemistry or related fields and typically 5+ years of relevant experience. You will operate various analytical techniques and ensure high-quality technical data generation. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Typically 5+ years of experience in analytical chemistry, materials characterisation or industrial quality control environments.
• Strong experience with analytical instrumentation and interpretation of materials/process data.
• High attention to detail and strong laboratory discipline.

Responsibilities

• Operate and interpret analytical techniques including XRD, TGA, SEM, PSD.
• Develop and maintain QC procedures and analytical standards.
• Support troubleshooting and process optimisation activities.
