Job summary

Sanofi is seeking a QC Analyst on a fixed-term, full-time basis at our Waterford site. You will provide analytical services to support manufacturing operations and contribute to continuous improvement of the laboratory function.

The role requires a degree in science (chemistry or biochemistry preferred), and hands-on experience in an active QA/QC laboratory, including HPLC/Empower. You will liaise with QA, engineering and planning teams to ensure compliant testing and timely batch releases.

Qualifications

• Degree in Science (Chemistry or Biochemistry) is required.
• Post-graduate studies augmenting the primary degree are a plus.
• Operational experience in quality laboratories in a fast-moving manufacturing environment.
• Detailed knowledge of quality management systems, pharmacopoeial methods and stability.
• Understanding of quality/compliance regulations and ability to manage projects to plan/budget.
• Minimum two years experience with HPLC/Empower.

Responsibilities

• Provide analytical chemistry services and support to Site.
• Interact with QA/Production/Engineering/Planners on materials and batch releases.
• Maintain, update and issue chemical methods, specifications and SOPs per regulatory requirements.
• Assist with training analysts in methods, SOPs and updates.
• Trend results, record on COA, and investigate OOS timely.
• Ensure compliance with cGLP and audit quality documentation.
