Job summary

Sanofi Waterford seeks a QC Analyst on a fixed-term, full-time contract to provide analytical chemistry services in support of manufacturing. You will interact with QA, Production, Engineering and Planners, updating methods, SOPs and specifications to comply with pharmacopoeial requirements.

The role requires a Science degree and at least two years of HPLC/Empower experience, with training responsibilities for analysts and involvement in OOS investigations and continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications

• Degree in Science (Chemistry or Biochemistry preferred).
• Post-graduate studies to augment degree are desirable.
• Operational experience in quality laboratories in a fast-moving manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of quality management systems, pharmacopoeial methods, cGLP and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to manage projects to plan and budget.
• Minimum two years HPLC/Empower experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide analytical chemistry services and support to the Site.
• Interact with QA, Production, Engineering and Planners on raw materials, intermediates and finished batch releases.
• Maintain, update and issue chemical methods, specifications and SOPs in line with regulatory requirements.
• Assist with training of analysts in areas of expertise and new methods/SOP updates.
• Trend results and complete OOS investigations timely; document on COA as required.
