We're on the hunt for a Quality Assurance Technician to join our client's successful and quality-driven food production business in Margate. If you have experience in food manufacturing or a similar QA role, and a passion for maintaining the highest standards, this is the opportunity for you!

What You'll Be Doing

Role Purpose

1. Ensure materials meet safety, legal, and quality standards
2. Maintain bakery hygiene & GMP compliance
3. Ensure adherence to BRCGS & customer standards
4. Support operations and company KPIs
5. Foster a culture of continuous improvement & food safety

1. Champion a "Safety First" culture
2. Promote zero harm and implement best practices

1. Approve suppliers, ingredients, and packaging
2. Manage non-conformance's and maintain QA documentation
3. Conduct audits, GMP checks, and lab testing
4. Maintain QA records & traceability systems
5. Support third-party audits & compliance

1. Monitor and report on KPIs
2. Strive for BRCGS "Grade A"
3. Keep the site audit-ready at all times
4. Contribute to cross-functional improvements

1. Proven QA/Quality experience in food manufacturing
2. Solid understanding of BRCGS & audit standards
3. Excellent communication & organisation
4. Proficient in MS Office & QA software systems

1. Monday to Friday schedule - no weekends!
2. A temp to permanent role with a stable, growing company
