Reporting into the site Quality Manager, you will be responsible for supervising QA’s in the Quality Team. Ensuring that Quality system KPI’s are archived, and the effective closure and reporting of non-conformances. Reporting of trends and root cause issues and suggest remedy actions. Support production in making decisions on issues within the factory environment. Keep the internal system audit schedule, calibration schedules etc maintained and report/remedy on non conformance accordingly. Ensure the factory environment is at a level to meet external audit requirements at all times.

Other daily tasks may include:

  • Managing and conducting internal audits
  • Planning workloads, rotas and allocating tasks to team members
  • Briefing teams on targets, initiatives and policy changes
  • Monitoring and reporting on team performance, and carrying out individual appraisals

  • Worked in a quality / QA role in the UK food manufacturing industry
  • Experience of supervising/managing a team of people
