Shirley Parsons is delighted to be working with a leading Structural Steel contractor who are looking to appoint a QA/QC Welding Inspector to join their Nuclear & Infrastructure division, to work on the Hinkley Point C project.

QA/QC Welding Inspector Responsibilities:

1. Inspect and evaluate welded and fabricated components to ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications
2. Monitor production processes to identify potential issues and recommend improvements
3. Maintaining the Quality Assurance systems
4. Maintaining external qualifications
5. Be a key point of contact for external stakeholders, and training of colleagues on Quality requirements

QA/QC Inspector Key Skills & Experience:

1. Proven experience in welding and fabrication, with a strong understanding of welding processes and fabrication techniques
2. Certification in welding inspection CSWIP 3.1
3. Familiarity with industry standards and specifications for welding and fabrication
