QA/QC Manager — Residential Refurb & Façade Project

Job summary

Premises Recruitment Ltd on behalf of a client seeks a QA/QC Manager for a landmark waterfront refurbishment in Southampton. You will own quality across the project, working with the Project Manager, site managers, design team and subcontractors.

Responsibilities include implementing QA/QC procedures, inspecting façade and internal works, managing ITPs, maintaining records and closing non-conformances, ensuring compliance with drawings and specifications.

Qualifications

• QA/QC experience on major construction/refurbishment/remediation schemes.
• Experience with principal/main/facade/refurbishment contractors would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage and implement QA/QC procedures across the project.
• Carry out regular inspections of façade, external envelope and internal works.
• Ensure works comply with approved drawings, specifications and manufacturers' requirements.
• Prepare, manage and sign off Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
• Maintain inspection reports, photographic records and project quality documentation.
• Identify defects and non-conformances and manage close-out.
• Monitor installation and workmanship standards.
• Maintain QA records throughout the works.
