Job description

Semac Construction, a division of the Semac Group, is seeking an experienced QA/QC Engineer to join our team in a permanent role.

In this position, you will be responsible for implementing and overseeing quality assurance and control procedures across our construction projects, ensuring all works meet internal standards and regulatory requirements from execution through delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and manage QA/QC plans and procedures throughout the project lifecycle.
• Supervise inspections and testing of construction works, materials, and equipment to verify compliance with technical specifications and applicable standards.
• Identify non-conformities and lead the implementation of corrective and preventive measures.
• Maintain comprehensive QA/QC records, including inspection logs, test reports, and quality documentation for handover packages.
• Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, subcontractors, and clients to resolve quality-related issues.
• Participate in audits, technical reviews, and handover processes.
• Promote a strong quality culture across all project teams and site operations.
  
  

Qualifications And Requirements

• Greek Citizenship.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: Medior level: Over 3 years of experience in QA/QC roles within the construction industry Senior level: 7+ years of experience with demonstrated responsibility in quality management of large-scale construction projects
• Solid understanding of QA/QC procedures, ISO standards, and relevant construction codes.
• Hands-on experience in buildings, infrastructure, or MEP works is essential.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
• Ability to travel to project sites; valid driver’s license required.
