Overview

Are you a resilient and process driven Quality Assurance Officer, or an individual with strong administrative experience?

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Officer to join our Quality team on a 12 month fixed term contract. Reporting to a Quality Assurance Manager, the role will be supporting all departments in the development, implementation and maintenance of quality standards and systems.This role will be full-time, 37.5 hours per week Monday-Friday and based in Runcorn.

Fresenius Kabi is a global healthcare company that specializes in lifesaving medicines and technologies for infusion, transfusion and clinical nutrition. The company's products and services are used to help care for critically and chronically ill patients.

Our product portfolio included a comprehensive range of IV generic drugs, infusion therapies and clinical nutrition products as well as the medical devices for administering these products.

Responsibilities
  • Complying with all necessary standard operating procedures and systems to ensure the effective monitoring of quality standards
  • Assist in managing supplier quality and overseeing document management processes to ensure compliance and efficiency
  • Assist in implementing global procedures at the site to ensure standardization and compliance
  • Performing risk assessments and gap analysis of the current quality systems and generating appropriate action plans.
  • Maintaining an overall knowledge of the current status of compliance across the site with rules and standards
  • Help maintain quality standards and provide support for various departmental projects to ensure continuous improvement and compliance
  • Building strong working relationships with all departments across the business to engender a quality culture
  • Undertaking any other relevant duties to support the Quality Assurance team and QA Manager
Qualifications
  • Experience in a Quality Assurance department within the pharmaceutical industry
  • Strong administrative skills and computer literate
  • Resilient and able to use own initiative to solve problems
  • Ability to plan workload and follow processes
  • Good communication skills
