Qualifikationen

• This role requires a degree in natural sciences or a related science field and practical QA/microbiology experience.
• Experience in QA, microbiology, food manufacturing or laboratory testing is desirable.
• Awareness of HACCP, food safety or QA principles is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail with ability to maintain accurate records.
• Excellent communication and cross-department collaboration skills.
• Organised and proactive with ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment.
• IT literacy with MS Office and internal systems.
• Safety-first mindset and integrity in working practices.
• Flexible hours and shift patterns; driving licence advantageous.

Aufgaben

• Support the Quality Manager in maintaining Food Safety and Quality Systems.
• Conduct hygiene surveys of plant and personnel per schedule.
• Carry out microbiological testing on plant-based samples and finished products.
• Perform regular quality audits of lines, product quality and packaging.
• Maintain written and electronic quality records including results and investigations.
• Support complaint investigations and document outcomes in Safefood 360.
• Maintain a clean micro lab and stock rotation of consumables.
• Calibrate equipment, perform stock checks, and manage consumables receipt.
• Participate in internal/external audits including lab accreditation and food safety standards.
• Assist in data collection and collaborate with Operations to identify risks and drive improvements.
