The Role

As a Quality Practice Lead for this high-growth cyber insurtech, you will have the opportunity to shape the evolution of Quality within the technology team and the broader business. You will serve as a thought leader, playing a key role in architecting the business's automation framework and managing the test team to reduce defects.

You will also collaborate with other practice leads across Software Development, DevOps, and Agile methodologies to ensure Quality remains central to all technological initiatives.

Responsibilities

  1. Develop the quality strategy across the business, assessing current practices and identifying areas for improvement.
  2. Work closely with other departments to implement software strategies.
  3. Hire, coach, and mentor a high-performing team of SDET’s and QA engineers.
  4. Establish career development plans for team members.
  5. Integrate quality practices into DevOps platforms and services.

About You

As a Quality Practice Lead, you will possess a variety of skills that will help you succeed in this role (don't worry if you don't have all these skills—still apply!):

  1. Experience developing and executing a test strategy.
  2. Experience with Microsoft Technologies and .NET systems.
  3. Experience in developing metrics to assess the performance of the test team.
  4. Experience coaching, mentoring, and hiring Quality professionals.
  5. Deep Agile experience.
  6. Experience with continuous integration and automation.
  7. Experience with delivery and related technologies.

Compensation

You can earn up to £110k plus a range of benefits.
