Job description

Our client is an award-winning leading soft drinks producer.

The Role

We are looking for a qualified professional to join our team as Quality Assurance Manager. You may have the exact knowledge and skills we are looking for or you might be looking to take the next step in your career. You will oversee the quality management systems and the quality control and inspection process to ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards.

Main duties will include:

Develop, implement, and maintain the company’s QMS including policies and procedures.

Manage quality control inspections and testing to include raw materials, in-process products and finished products.

Lead and report on QC investigations for non-conforming product, taking the necessary actions as required.

Conduct internal audits of the QMS and identify improvements and manage non-conformances.

As the Company’s main point of contact, you will take the lead on external audits such as BRC and against various supermarket standards ensuring we are always audit ready’.

Taking a key role as part of the HACCP team.

Provide expert guidance and training on quality related matters to other managers and departments.

Manage a small QA team to include time and attendance records, conducting regular reviews and identifying training requirements.

Candidate requirements:

Extensive knowledge and proven track record as a Quality professional within a food or drink manufacturing environment.

Certified Internal Auditor along with Level 3 HACCP.

Strong interpersonal and influencing skills.

Analytically minded with the ability to problem solve under pressure.

Sound leadership qualities.

Flexible with a can-do’ attitude.

  • You will be required to work 40-hours per week, Monday to Friday. We offer a competitive salary dependant upon experience.
