Job Opportunity: QA Manager at Leading Food Manufacturer

My client is a leading food manufacturer seeking a bright and eager QA Manager to join their site-based technical services team. The role is within commuting distance of Leicester and offers an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking, rapidly growing company. This position reports directly to the Technical Manager.

The Role:
  1. Responsibility to step in for the Technical Manager in her absence.
  2. Maintain procedures and documentation in line with the company's high BRC standards and customer requirements.
  3. Manage communication between the quality department and factory, acting as the first point of contact for solving factory, quality, and food safety issues.
  4. Ensure all products meet customer and accreditation body specifications through good experience with specifications.
The Candidate:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in roles of responsibility within the food industry.
  • HACCP/Food Safety Level 3 qualification preferred.
  • Experience with QMS systems and technical documentation is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of BRC standards, high-care experience, and strong interpersonal skills are desired.
