A leading engineering and maintenance provider in the UK is seeking a QA Maintenance Technician for a permanent position at Stanlow. The role involves preparation of QA documentation, execution of QA checks, and completion of documentation for quality assurance on flange joints. Candidates should have experience in QA roles on COMAH registered sites and mechanical qualifications. Bilfinger require a QA Maintenance Technician on a permanent basis on Stanlow.
The QA/QC Technician (Mechanical) will be responsible for;
Preparation of QA Documentation in Accordance with Agreed Site Requirements.
Manage & Execute Required Checks on Completed Flange Joints made by B.U.K. & Sub-Contractors.
Complete QA Documentation to Ensure 100% Traceability of Completed Flange Joints for Handover to Client T/A Quality Engineer.
Liaise with mechanical coordinator/Site Supervisor/ESSAR QA/ Inspection contractor P.U. Assurance Engineer to Resolve QA Related Issues in an Efficient & Timely Manner
Ensure QA Boards Reflect the QA Status of each Completed Task to Allow Safe & Efficient Handback to ESSAR Operations.
Compile all Completed Documentation in Preparation for Archiving.

The maintenance QA Technicians duties are critical to the successful delivery of the day-to-day mechanical works carried out. . The duties performed during the will contribute to a safe & efficient handback to ESSAR Operations & ensure a leak free start-up & reliable operation of the process unit, without the need for un planned downtime.

Qualifications
Experience in a QA related role on a Top Tier COMAH registered site
Experience in the chemical or oil & gas industry in a senior delivery role.
Computer literate in MS Excel & Word.
HND / HNC and preferably membership of appropriate Institute. Mechanical Qualifications appropriate. Training will be provided if required.
