Job summary

Arcus seeks an experienced QA Lead to own product quality across our suite, guiding the move from manual to automated testing on the Salesforce platform. This hands‑on leadership role combines team management with hands-on testing and automation roadmap planning, across our UK/Spain remote setup and Cambridge‑hybrid options.

Qualifications

• Senior QA experience with direct line management of testers.
• Track record of moving QA from manual to automation.
• Hands-on with Playwright or Selenium.
• Experience automating Salesforce testing.
• Strong programming in JavaScript/TypeScript/Java.
• Familiar with CI/CD tools (Bitbucket, Jira).
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the QA team; line manage, mentor and coach testers.
• Define and deliver the transition from manual testing to automated testing.
• Stay hands-on with manual regression, functional, UX and integration testing.
• Design, develop and optimise scalable automated test suites (Playwright/Selenium).
• Manage Salesforce testing challenges across managed packages and configurations.
• Collaborate with Implementation and Release teams to extend automation to customer upgrades.
• Contribute to product documentation, changelogs and QA policies.
