Nestlé Canada Ice Cream is hiring a Laboratory Technician for the London Ice Cream Factory. The role reports to the Quality Assurance Supervisor and will perform lab analyses, document results, and help ensure product safety and quality.

The successful candidate will conduct methodical testing, maintain equipment, and collaborate with multiple departments to drive continuous improvement in quality systems.

Qualifications

• B.Sc. in biology, microbiology, Chemistry, nutrition or science/food related field or a college diploma in science/food related field
• Relevant work experience in a laboratory environment
• Experience in analytical methods and ability to perform various physical, chemical and microbiological testing

Responsabilités

• Perform routine lab analyses and QA duties per Quality procedures and standards, including documentation and sample testing
• Calibrate and maintain lab equipment, keep 5S and housekeeping
• Document results and manage test data in SAP
• Release materials meeting quality specifications
• Communicate results to other departments within the plant
• Support GMP adherence and safety initiatives
