Hilton Foods UK is seeking a QA Laboratory Technician to coordinate and complete the site laboratory, environmental monitoring, product testing, shelf-life and organoleptic assessments. The role ensures samples are collected, prepared, submitted, tracked and reviewed; testing schedules stay current; failures escalated; and records are audit-ready.

The successful candidate will liaise with multiple internal departments and external labs, manage lab systems, and support continuous improvement

Competenze

Experience coordinating sampling programmes (environmental, hand, allergen, species, air-plate, water, ice).
Ability to trouble-shoot bespoke labelling systems.
Capable of multitasking and prioritising workload.
Maintain effective communication within Technical Department.

Mansioni

Coordinate environmental, sampling and testing programmes as outlined.
Prepare and submit product samples for microbiological, nutritional, chemistry, shelf-life testing.
Maintain testing schedules, trackers, certificates and communications.
Organise shelf-life trials, organoleptic calendars and taste-panel activities.
Review results, arrange retests and support non-conformance processes.
Liaise with QA, Production, Hygiene, Engineering, Planning, Logistics, NPD, Technical and external labs.
Manage lab consumables, sample storage and shift handovers.
