Job summary

Search Consultancy is seeking a QA Inspector / Technical Assistant to join a passive fire protection contractor in Hutton, Essex. You will carry out QA inspections of firestopping and compartmentation works, sign off remedial works and assess installer competency.

This role offers £40,000 - £50,000 DOE and a permanent, 40-hour week. You'll provide technical support to operations, deliver toolbox talks, support FIRAS audits and ISO compliance, and help develop project-specific passive fire

Qualifications

• Experience within passive fire, firestopping, compartmentation, QA or compliance.
• Strong understanding of firestopping systems, manufacturer details and industry standards.
• Experience carrying out inspections, snagging or quality checks.
• Confidence working directly with installers and clients.
• Strong reporting and organisational skills.
• Level 3 qualification or relevant trade background.

Permanent | 40 hours per week

Search Consultancy are recruiting for an experienced QA Inspector / Technical Assistant to join an established passive fire protection contractor based in Hutton, Essex.

This is a technical, site-focused role suited to someone with strong experience across firestopping, compartmentation, QA and compliance who is confident inspecting installations, identifying defects and working directly with operatives, site teams and clients.

The Role

• Carrying out QA inspections of firestopping and compartmentation works
• Inspecting installations and signing off remedial works

What We're Looking For
