Job summary

Ambitek Limited is seeking a QA professional to join a client team in Greater Manchester on a temporary six-month contract. The role focuses on generating and completing First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) in line with AS9100 requirements, with accuracy and independence.

You will perform final and in-process inspections, review data for conformance, and liaise with Production, Customer Services and Commercial teams to resolve quality issues.

Qualifications

• Experience generating and completing FIRST ARTICLE INSPECTION REPORTS (FAIRs).
• Good understanding of AS9100 requirements and the FAIR process.

Responsibilities

• Generate and complete FAIRs in line with AS9100 requirements.
• Carry out final and in-process inspections as required.

Job description

Candidates must have a good understanding of the FAIR process and be confident completing reports accurately and independently.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate and complete First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) in line with AS9100 requirements.
• Understand the FAIR process and ensure all required information and documentation are accurate and complete.
• Carry out final and in-process inspections of parts and assemblies when required.
• Review technical and inspection data to ensure products meet quality standards.
• Liaise with Production, Customer Services and Commercial teams to gather information and resolve any quality issues.
• Complete supporting quality documentation and inspection reports.

Essential Requirements

• Experience generating and completing FAIRs.
• A good understanding of AS9100 requirements and the First Article Inspection process.
• Experience working in a quality inspection role within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills.
• Confident communicating with different departments.
