Responsibilities

1. Build a quality-driven engineering culture that helps ship products rapidly and with confidence.
2. Drive quality for products and features, assess risks, and ensure high-quality shipping standards.
3. Plan, develop, and execute test strategies across core WhatsApp products and platforms.
4. Lead quality assurance efforts aligned with product objectives and develop scalable solutions.
5. Contribute creative ideas to solve cross-platform engineering challenges and improve quality.
6. Implement and evolve QA processes to obtain effective testing signals and scale efforts across multiple products.
7. Define quality metrics and implement measurements to evaluate test effectiveness, testing efficiency, and overall product quality.
8. Partner with engineering and infrastructure teams to leverage automation, prevent regressions, and ensure product reliability.

Minimum Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
2. 3+ years of quality assurance and test engineering experience.
3. Experience in programming languages such as Python, PHP, Java, C/C++ or similar.
4. Experience testing and debugging web or mobile applications.
5. Organizational, coordination, and multi-tasking skills.
6. Hands-on experience with test planning, design, execution, performance, and stress testing, including automation of client and server systems.
7. Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
8. Knowledge of industry-standard test automation tools and frameworks.
9. Currently pursuing or having completed a Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field, with completion prior to joining Meta.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Experience managing black box and white box testing.
2. Experience working with medium to large engineering teams.
3. Creativity and initiative to improve product coverage and effectiveness.
4. Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders across organizational levels.
