Job summary

Pod Network is seeking a QA Engineer to own testing of the Pod trading experience across web and mobile. This hands-on role tests new features, deposits/withdrawals, orders, and market outcomes, and increasingly automates checks before releases.

You'll collaborate with engineering and product teams to define test cases, maintain release checklists, and grow automated end-to-end tests with Playwright or Cypress, in a dynamic crypto startup environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in QA or software testing for web or mobile products.
• Strong manual and exploratory testing skills; write test cases and reproduce bugs clearly.
• Proficient in TypeScript, JavaScript, or Python for test automation and scripting.
• Attention to detail with numbers, balances and state changes.
• Familiar with browser dev tools to inspect network requests and console errors.
• Experience with end-to-end or browser test automation.
• Strong ownership of release quality; reproduce, diagnose, and re-test fixes.

Responsibilities

• Test new Pod features and releases before they ship.
• Run exploratory testing on trading screens, order books, charts, account pages and onboarding flows.
• Check that what users see matches what happened: order status, fills, balances, positions, fees and transaction history.
• Test across browsers, devices and wallets, and on slow or unstable connections.
• Build and own Pod's automated test suite, including end-to-end tests for key user flows in Playwright or Cypress, run before every release.
• Write clear bug reports with steps to reproduce, expected and actual behavior, screenshots, screen recordings and console logs.
• Work with the right engineer to get bugs fixed, verified and released.
