You will be responsible for ensuring that products and processes meet quality standards and customer requirements.

ThrustMe is a fast-growing startup in the space sector, founded in 2017 with the mission to enable sustainable use of space by delivering advanced satellite mobility solutions to our clients worldwide. We are experts in satellite space propulsion and made history in 2020 with the world's first in-orbit demonstrations of an iodine-fueled electric propulsion system. Today, we are delivering propulsion systems to large satellite constellation clients in Europe, Asia, and North America. We made history in 2019 and 2020 with the world’s first in-orbit demonstrations of iodine-fuelled electric propulsion systems. Today, we are experiencing rapid growth, with over 400 systems ordered to date and above 200 delivered.

As Quality Engineer you will be responsible for ensuring that products and processes meet quality standards and customer requirements. This role involves monitoring, analyzing, and improving quality systems and processes throughout the product lifecycle. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify quality issues, implement corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement. You will report directly to the Head of Product Management.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality control procedures and standards.
  • Conduct inspections, audits, and tests of the processes to ensure product conformance to specifications.
  • Address non-conformances in collaboration with Product Owners.
  • Lead root cause analysis and the implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to resolve quality issues.
  • Support product development and design reviews to ensure the integration of quality considerations.
  • Maintain quality documentation, including plans, designs, procedures, and instructions.
  • Uphold standards of safety and cleanliness according to the regulations.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies such as Six Sigma or Lean.

Skills and qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience as a Quality Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of quality control tools (e.g., Six Sigma, 8D, KPI follow-up).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in both French and English.

The successful candidate should be a self-starter with a passion for space technologies and great communication skills. Experience with a high-tech production line is a plus. We value a proactive mindset, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
