Adecco Portugal is seeking an experienced QA Engineering Lead in Wembley to build an automation-first quality function within a growing tech team. You will shape testing strategy, embed QA into the SDLC, and drive reliable software deliveries while exploring AI-powered testing technologies.

You will lead defining QA governance, establish automation frameworks, and coach engineers to raise quality standards across projects in a fast-paced environment.

Qualificações

• Significant experience in QA, Software Testing, or Quality Engineering roles.
• Proven experience designing and maintaining automation frameworks in complex environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with tools such as Playwright, Selenium, REST Assured, Postman, or similar.
• Development experience using Java, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
• Experience testing APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD practices and automated quality gates.
• Experience defining testing strategies and quality standards.
• An interest in, or experience with, AI-assisted testing technologies.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

We're seeking an experienced QA Engineering Lead to establish and drive a modern, automation-first quality engineering function within a growing technology team.

This is an exciting opportunity to shape quality standards, define testing strategy, and implement scalable automation frameworks that ensure reliable, high-quality software delivery. You'll play a key role in embedding quality throughout the software development lifecycle while exploring the use of AI-powered testing solutions to improve efficiency, coverage, and release confidence.

The Role

As QA Engineering Lead, you'll be responsible for defining the overall quality strategy and championing best practice across development teams. You'll work closely with architects, engineers, and stakeholders to create a culture where quality is built into every stage of delivery.

You'll bring a strong background in quality engineering and test automation, alongside the ability to influence teams and drive continuous improvement.

We're looking for:
