Job summary

Salt Digital Recruitment is seeking a DV Cleared QA Engineer for on-site work across multiple UK locations, including Manchester. You will write and maintain automated tests, test APIs and integrations, investigate defects and help engineering teams build quality in from the start.

The role requires hands-on testing, strong automation skills with Selenium/Playwright/Cypress, familiarity with CI/CD, and experience in secure or mission-critical environments is a bonus.

DV Cleared, QA Engineer, Automation, On Site 5 days a week at any of the following location; London, Manchester, Ipswich or Cheltenham. A global firm are looking for a DV Cleared QA Engineer with strong automation experience to work on technology that supports some of the UK's most critical services. You’ll be hands-on - writing and maintaining automated tests, testing APIs and integrations, investigating defects and helping engineering teams build quality in from the start. You’ll be doing things like:

• Building and maintaining automated test frameworks and test suites
• Functional, integration and regression testing
• API and end-to-end testing
• Working with CI/CD pipelines and development teams
• Investigating issues and driving defects through to resolution
• Improving testing processes, tooling and automation

You’ll bring:

• Active DV clearance or eligibility to obtain DV
• Solid commercial QA/testing experience
• Strong test automation skills
• Experience with tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, REST Assured or similar
• Good understanding of CI/CD and modern testing practices
• A curious, hands-on approach to problem solving
• Experience in secure, regulated or mission-critical environments is a bonus, not a must.
