Join Amazon Games Bucharest! As part of our global development teams in Orange County, Montreal, San Diego, and Seattle, we are expanding our commitment to creating and publishing exceptional games. We are seeking an experienced quality assurance professional with a proven track record in delivering QA services for both development and live titles. In this role, you will collaborate with the development team and QA partners to ensure the highest standards of software quality throughout the development lifecycle.

Key job responsibilities

1. Conduct smoke tests and base verification before handoff to Functional QA.
2. Develop test plans for standalone features and content.
3. Identify, document, and track bugs and issues, working closely with developers.
4. Manage feature functionality overview and changes, and prepare test readiness for Functional QA.
5. Support and design collaboration processes with Functional QA.
6. Act as a liaison with Central QA, providing insights on hot spots, test requests, and defect workflows.
7. Provide reliable builds and test information to Functional QA.

Basic qualifications

• Experience in automation testing.
• Experience in manual testing.
• Experience in the Games Industry (supporting title development, release, or live operations).
• Experience working closely with development and business teams to communicate problem impacts and understand business requirements.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience in gathering test requirements, creating detailed test plans, and defining quality metrics.
• Experience scripting or coding.
