Job summary

Insight Investment in Manchester is seeking a QA Engineer to join the Pathway team. You will use Typescript, Playwright and .NET to automate tests, and perform hands-on manual testing with developers across the testing pyramid.

You will collaborate with business stakeholders and be involved in the secure SDLC, driving quality across releases with scalable test strategies and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience with test automation using Typescript, C#, and SQL.
• Familiarity with Playwright, Jira, and Zephyr tooling.
• Experience building test automation frameworks and test harnesses.

Responsibilities

• Assess and recommend QA strategy based on functional and non-functional requirements.
• Implement test automation strategy to reduce manual testing and improve test coverage.
• Write clear and concise tests, recognizing the need to address technical debt.
• Present information concisely to individuals within and outside of the Technology function.
• Participate in meetings with business stakeholders to understand requirements.
• Evolve as a subject matter expert with product behaviour and domain understanding.
• Contribute to defining and maintaining the agreed quality standards of the product.
