Job summary

Intec Select Ltd. is seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer to join the digital product team in Basingstoke on a hybrid model.

You will drive automated and manual testing across customer-facing web and CRM applications, focusing on Playwright, TypeScript/JavaScript, and high-quality user journeys. Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in QA/Software Testing within a digital or web application environment.
• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright automation testing.
• Good working knowledge of TypeScript or JavaScript.
• Experience testing customer-facing web applications across multiple browsers and devices.
• Strong understanding of manual, exploratory, regression and end-to-end testing.
• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or Playwright.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Git and automated test integration.
• Understanding of HTML, CSS, browser developer tools and web accessibility (WCAG).
• Experience working within Agile software development teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform functional, regression, integration, exploratory and end-to-end testing.

Location: Basingstoke / Hybrid / x1-2 onsite

Overview

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced QA Automation Engineer to join a great brand. You will be working within a digital product team responsible for developing and enhancing customer-facing web and CRM applications. This is a hands‑on role combining automated and manual testing, with a strong focus on Playwright, TypeScript/JavaScript and ensuring high-quality digital customer journeys. You will work closely with Software Engineers, Product Owners and UX/UI Designers, contributing to testing strategy, automation frameworks and continuous improvement across the software development lifecycle.
