This role will be based from Norwich [UK], city centre offices

Artlist is a leading Creative Technology company - it's where the creative arts meet technology. If there’s one thing we all have in common, it’s a love of music and film, which is why we build innovative products to help content creators make amazing videos.

We do this by giving them the best music, footage, sound effects, and editing software around. We also revolutionised the industry with a radical new music licensing model that has since become the global standard, offering a subscription-based licence that covers every video project.

Artlist is now the go-to platform for over 16M content creators across more than 160 countries. Our users range from beginner social creators to superbrands like Apple, Google, Nike, Coca-Cola, and Netflix.

Requirements:

We're looking for a QA Engineer to join our talented UK R&D Team. As a QA Engineer at Artlist, you'll further harness your knowledge of software testing to help build next generation web applications and take our products to the next level. You’ll be part of a talented team based here in Norwich that is part of a wider team globally.

Wake up for this:

  1. Manage, define and ensure effective planning, writing and execution of test plans.
  2. Responsible for cross-platform/browser testing, ensuring the quality of Android, iOS, and web products—including acceptance, regression, and load testing.
  3. Establish and own an effective QA process that best fits the product’s needs.
  4. Keep engagement up with a high-speed development process and ongoing deliveries - executing and adjusting your test cases accordingly.
  5. Work with other development teams on all aspects of the process including design, implementation, testing and documentation.
  6. Enhance the product specification by engaging early in the process with product owners.
  7. Use your expertise to guide decision making about the final product that will be delivered to customers, by giving insights into potential problem areas such as error handling.

Required Skills:

  1. Excellent team skills with the ability to explain the QA process to newcomers.
  2. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  3. Passionate about QA and development processes.
  4. Ability to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision.
  5. Ability to adapt quickly to evolving requirements due to product constraints or business needs.
  6. Demonstrable experience of testing web applications.
  7. Fast learner with an ability to pick up new ideas and approaches quickly.
  8. Knowledge of web application testing tools.
  9. Experience with Scrum/Agile development methodologies and tools (JIRA is preferred).

Desirable Skills:

  1. Experience with CI/CD processes.
  2. Experience working with APIs and tools such as Postman.
  3. Experience with Jira and Confluence.
  4. Experience using testing documentation tools such as Zephyr.
  5. Experience in writing testing documents (STP, STD, STR).
