Hawk 3 Talent Solutions has partnered with a Gloucester-based manufacturer to recruit an experienced Quality Engineer. The role supports ongoing development of the Quality Management System in line with ISO 13485 and regulatory requirements, with emphasis on robust internal audits and improvement initiatives.

You will work across Manufacturing, Engineering and supply chain to ensure quality and compliance, drive CAPA actions, non-conformances and data-driven improvements, and contribute to

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in a Quality Engineering/QA role in manufacturing.
• Strong working knowledge of ISO 13485:2016.
• Experience with CAPA, non-conformance, root-cause analysis and change control.

Responsabilités

• Maintain and improve the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Plan and conduct ISO 13485 internal audits; support external audits.
• Manage CAPAs, non-conformances, root cause investigations and change control.
• Support supplier quality, validation activities and complaint investigations.
• Analyse quality data to identify trends and drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering and cross-functional teams to ensure quality and compliance.

Job Title: Quality Engineer

Salary: Up to £50K

Location: Gloucester

Type: Permanent

Our client, based in Gloucester, is looking to recruit an experienced Quality Engineer to join their manufacturing team and support the ongoing development of their Quality Management System in line with ISO 13485 and regulatory requirements.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in manufacturing who enjoys working across the full quality lifecycle, from internal auditing and CAPA management to validation, supplier quality and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities include:

• Maintaining and improving the Quality Management System (QMS)
• Planning and conducting ISO 13485 internal audits and supporting external audits
• Managing CAPAs, non-conformances, root cause investigations and change control
• Supporting supplier quality, validation activities and complaint investigations
• Analysing quality data to identify trends and drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Working closely with Manufacturing, Engineering and other cross-functional teams to ensure quality and compliance standards are met

What we're looking for:

• Minimum 5 years' experience in a Quality Engineering or Quality Assurance role within a manufacturing environment
• Strong working knowledge of ISO 13485:2016
• Qualified ISO 13485 Internal Auditor with hands‑on auditing experience
• Experience with CAPA, non‑conformance management, root cause analysis, change control and continuous improvement
• Excellent communication, analytical and problem‑solving skills
