Job summary

Millbank Holdings Ltd is seeking a QA Engineer to ensure quality standards for a groundbreaking energy storage facility. You will prepare and review Quality Plans and ITPs, support vendor QA activities, and liaise with third-party inspectors to drive continuous improvement.

You will work with Mechanical, Electrical and Instrumentation disciplines to ensure all quality documentation and practices meet project and industry standards.

Qualifications

• QA/QC experience in large-scale engineering or energy projects.
• Lead Auditor qualification (ISO 9001) required.
• Quality Management Systems knowledge and project documentation experience.
• Welding inspection and radiographic interpretation needed.
• NDT techniques familiarity; piping standards and fabrication understood.
• Technical drawings literacy and strong communication and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review Quality Plans and Inspection and Test Plans.
• Support vendor QA activities and liaise with third-party inspectors.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the project.
• Coordinate with Mechanical, Electrical and Instrumentation teams to ensure standards meet project and industry requirements.

The Role

As a QA Engineer, you will be central to ensuring the quality standards of a complex and innovative energy storage project. Your responsibilities will include preparing and reviewing Quality Plans, Inspection and Test Plans, supporting vendor QA activities, liaising with third-party inspectors, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. You will work closely with Mechanical, Electrical, and Instrumentation disciplines to ensure all quality documentation and practices meet project and industry standards.

You will have the following qualifications & experience

• Proven experience in QA/QC within large-scale engineering or energy projects
• Recognised Lead Auditor qualification (ISO 9001)
• Extensive knowledge of Quality Management Systems and project documentation development
• Familiarity with welding inspection, radiographic interpretation, NDT techniques, and relevant standards
• Good understanding of piping standards, fabrication, and technical drawings
• Strong communication, report writing, and computer literacy skills
• CSWIP Level 3.1 Welding Inspector
• PCN level 2 – MPI / DPI
• Recognised Lead Auditor qualification (9001)
• ONC/HNC Mechanical Engineering (Desirable)
• Radiograph Interpretation (Optional)
