About The Position

The QA role is vital in ensuring our products meet high-quality standards, are delivered on schedule, and align with customer expectations.

You will advocate for quality by ensuring standards, procedures, and specifications are understood and followed. You will also champion QA policies within the team, collaborating closely with Engineers, POs, automation engineers, and other QAs to deliver high-quality products.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure development tasks meet quality criteria through test planning, execution, assurance, and issue tracking.
• Collaborate to improve testing processes and quality standards continually.
• Assess risk of test coverage across product areas, ensuring critical paths are well tested.
• Contribute to and maintain CI/CD pipelines for smooth, automated deployments.
• Prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
• Communicate issues clearly, explaining their impact to developers, product owners, stakeholders, and QA Leads.
• Promote a "Shift Left" approach by engaging early in QA preparation and testing during refinement and sprint planning.
• Understand QA's role in Agile environments, emphasizing collaboration and adaptability.
• Apply best practices in UI, API, and performance testing, leveraging relevant technologies.
• Advocate for test automation, identifying opportunities to increase coverage and educating teams on automation benefits.
• Participate in root cause analysis of defects to improve quality outcomes.
• Maintain test environments and ensure data integrity for reliable testing.
• Document test coverage and results clearly and systematically.
• Demonstrate passion for quality and advocate for best practices.
• Understand the SDLC and QA's integration at each phase.
• Continuously seek to improve quality processes.
• Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to convey quality insights.
• Analyze and organize testing activities with attention to detail.
• Understand user requirements and approach problem-solving proactively.
• Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail).
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and API testing (e.g., Postman).
• Experience testing mobile applications on iOS and Android, including UI/UX, performance, and device compatibility.
• Knowledge of automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
• Understanding performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling).
• Experience with cloud environments like AWS or Azure.
• ISTQB or similar certification is advantageous.
• Experience with functional and non-functional testing, including security and usability testing.
