Job description

As a Manual QA Engineer at Reward working on our loyalty platform in a fast paced, agile environment, you will be contributing to the quality and development of our core product suite.

Key Responsibilities

The role responsibilities include creation / execution of manual tests, identifying defects, being a subject matter expert on Reward products, testing estimates and resource planning across multiple environments.

Skills Knowledge and Expertise

At Reward we want to recruit passionate testers who are truly interested in their chosen field. The skills that make great QA’s are transferrable across any technology and at Reward we are interested in your approach as a tester and how you approach QA. If you have experience in some of the following skills, we would be interested in speaking with you. It’s an advantage the more you know but we don’t expect anyone to have experience of all of them.

  • A degree in an analytical, technical or numerate field.
  • At least 1 year experience which may include placements and internships
  • Experience in testing web applications, including understanding of common web testing techniques and tools.
  • Knowledge of API testing
  • Basic skills in querying SQL and No-SQL databases
  • Demonstrates a genuine interest in quality assurance and a systematic approach to testing
  • Shows enthusiasm for identifying and solving problems to ensure high-quality software
