The Role

As a QA Automation Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in upholding high-quality standards by developing and executing automated test scripts. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to verify system functionality, drive continuous improvements, and ensure timely delivery of robust software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for web services, APIs, and backend systems.
  2. Perform system, regression, and acceptance testing, including manual testing when required.
  3. Review business and functional requirements, translating them into comprehensive test cases.
  4. Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to identify acceptance criteria and troubleshoot issues.
  5. Create detailed test plans, test reports, and defect logs.
  6. Ensure alignment with CI / CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  7. Identify opportunities to improve testing processes and recommend new tools or methodologies.

Experience Needed:

  1. 5+ years experience in software testing, with a strong focus on automation.
  2. Proficiency in automation tools such as Leapwork, Playwright, SpecFlow, Postman, Selenium, or similar.
  3. Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  4. Experience with Azure services, CI / CD pipelines, and backend data validation is a plus.
  5. Excellent problem-solving skills, with a collaborative and analytical mindset.
  6. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders.

Desirable Qualifications (not a must):

  1. ISTQB certification.
  2. Experience in security testing.
