Job summary

E-Solutions in Bristol is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to design, implement, and maintain automated test solutions using Eggplant Functional and Eggplant DAI, and to develop model-based, end-to-end test suites across web, desktop, and integrated environments.

You will integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps/Jenkins/GitHub Actions), manage artifacts and governance, and work closely with DevOps to improve delivery quality and release readiness.

Job Responsibilities

Quality Engineering

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test solutions using Eggplant Functional and Eggplant DAI.
• Develop model-based, end-to-end, regression, integration, and system-level test suites.
• Execute cross-platform validation across web, desktop, and integrated application environments.

DevSecOps & CI/CD Integration

• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or equivalent platforms.
• Configure and maintain automated quality gates within CI/CD and release pipelines.
• Implement continuous testing and shift-left quality practices throughout the software delivery lifecycle.
• Collaborate with development, release, and deployment teams to improve delivery reliability and deployment quality.
• Support automated deployment validation and quality checks across release workflows.
• Support artifact repository governance using JFrog Artifactory, including repository and artifact lifecycle management.
• Assist with dependency management, package governance, and artifact promotion activities.
• Leverage JFrog Xray vulnerability and license compliance insights to support release-readiness assessments.
• Ensure validated artifacts progress through controlled and compliant deployment workflows.
