Job Summary

Are you looking for a role with the opportunity to broaden your network internally and externally? Do you work well within a comprehensive view of the company? The Central Quality Department at GKN Aerospace Sweden AB (GAS) is seeking a new team member within the Quality Department.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Planning, performing, and reporting on internal and supplier audits.
  2. Conducting audits with a focus on improving all areas of GAS, including Quality, Health, Safety & Environment (HSE), and Risk & Crisis Management.
  3. Audits cover System, Special Process, and Product audits at supplier sites and GAS facilities.
  4. Coordinating customer and registrar audits, initiating root cause analysis, and following up on corrective actions and improvements.
  5. Leading or participating in quality projects and improvement teams.
  6. Contributing to the development of audit methods for quality, environment, and risk management.
  7. Providing management with updated status reports.
  8. Sharing best practices across the business and supporting continuous improvement of BMS/QMS processes.
  9. Performing tasks both independently and as part of audit teams.
Job Qualifications
  • Engineering background with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with manufacturing processes, product development, and quality evaluation.
  • Knowledge of supplier quality and process improvements.
  • Understanding of Quality Management Systems, Quality Tools, Six Sigma, etc.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Experience conducting supplier audits.
  • Knowledge of the aerospace industry.
  • IRCA Lead Auditor certification (or similar).
