Job Summary

Are you looking for a role with the opportunity to broaden your network internally and externally? Do you work according to an overall picture of the company? The Central Quality Department at GKN Aerospace Sweden AB (GAS) is hiring a new member for the Quality Department.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Planning, performing, and reporting on internal and supplier audits.
  2. Conducting audits focused on improving all areas of GAS, including Quality, Health, Safety & Environment (HSE), and Risk & Crisis Management.
  3. Auditing at supplier sites, covering System, Special Process, and Product audits.
  4. Coordinating customer and registrar audits, initiating root cause analysis, and following up on corrective actions and improvements.
  5. Leading or participating in quality projects and continuous development of audit methods.
  6. Sharing best practices and supporting continuous improvement of BMS/QMS processes.
  7. Performing roles in audit teams and independently as needed.

Job Qualifications

  • Engineering background with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with manufacturing processes, product development, and quality evaluation.
  • Knowledge of supplier quality and process improvement, problem-solving at suppliers.
  • Understanding of Quality Management Systems, Quality Tools, Six Sigma, etc.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Experience with supplier audits.
  • Aerospace industry knowledge.
  • IRCA Lead Auditor certification (or similar).
