Job Summary

Are you looking for a role that offers opportunities to broaden your internal and external network and work within an overall company strategy? The Central Quality Department at GKN Aerospace Sweden AB (GAS) is seeking a new team member for the Quality Department.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Planning, performing, and reporting on internal and supplier audits. Internal audits aim to improve all areas of GAS, focusing on Quality, Health, Safety & Environment (HSE), and Risk & Crisis Management.
  2. Conducting system, special process, and product audits onsite at suppliers and sources, as well as at GAS. Coordinating audits from customers and registrars, initiating root cause analysis, and following up on corrective actions and improvement initiatives.
  3. Leading or participating in various quality projects and improvement teams. Contributing to the development of audit methods for quality, environment, and risk & crisis management, and providing management with updated status reports.
  4. Sharing best practices across the business and supporting continuous improvement of the Business Management System (BMS) and Quality Management System (QMS) and their processes.
  5. Performing roles within audit teams and independently in various tasks.
Job Qualifications
  • Engineering background with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with manufacturing processes, product development, and quality or laboratory evaluation.
  • Knowledge of supplier quality management and process improvement, problem-solving at suppliers.
  • Familiarity with Quality Management Systems, quality tools, Six Sigma, etc.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Experience conducting supplier audits.
  • Aerospace industry knowledge.
  • IRCA Lead Auditor certification (5 days or equivalent).
