Job Summary

Are you looking for a role with the opportunity to broaden your network internally and externally? Where you also work according to an overall picture of the company? The Central Quality Department at GKN Aerospace Sweden AB (GAS) is seeking to employ a new member within the Quality Department.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Planning, performing, and reporting of internal and supplier audits.
  2. Conducting audits with a focus on improving all areas of GAS, including Quality, Health, Safety & Environment (HSE), and Risk & Crisis Management.
  3. Audits cover System, Special Process, and Product audits at supplier locations and GAS sites. Coordination of customer and registrar audits is also part of the role.
  4. Initiating root cause analyses, following up on corrective actions, and supporting improvement initiatives.
  5. Leading or participating in quality projects and improvement teams.
  6. Contributing to the development of audit methods and providing management with status reports.
  7. Sharing best practices and supporting continuous improvement of BMS/QMS processes.
  8. Working both independently and as part of audit teams.

Job Qualifications

  • Engineering background with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with manufacturing processes, product development, quality, or laboratory evaluation.
  • Knowledge of supplier quality and process improvements, problem solving at suppliers.
  • Understanding of Quality Management Systems, Quality Tools, Six Sigma, etc.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Experience with supplier audits.
  • Aerospace industry knowledge.
  • IRCA Lead Auditor certification (5 days or similar).
